My Shrimp, Mushroom, and Turkey Sauce! :P

Gotta love you some sauce! Hey everyone, so this is a sauce I made to go along with some regular plain spaghetti. Well actually thanks to my moms friend, she gave me the idea of using half regular spaghetti and half whole grain spaghetti, it make it a lot easier to swallow, and you till get a good taste while eating healthy! But anyways, so I made this sauce to go along with it, but I was so happy cooking it up, I didn't bother to check the amount I was making.... yeah. Let's just say I made quite a bit of it, no exactly on purpose, but hey! Sometimes leftovers are a gift, you don't have to cook a much the next day and still have yourself a yummy meal. So basically the food I'm showing you hear was my second day dish, still yummy! Enjoy the pictures are try out my recipe! (Well maybe half, unless you want as much as me! -_-)

(Using the same ground turkey as always!)

Ingredients:

1 Packet Shrimp (I buy the frozen already peeled kind, let them chill in the fridge over night!)
1 Can Mushrooms
1/2 Packet Turkey
1 cup more or less of your favorite sauce! (I used Four Cheeses! <3)
(*You could add onions, garlic, herbs, spices, but I was reallllllyyyy hungry, so I made it plain and simple.)

Directions:

The first thing you should start cooking is what takes the longest. By now you should have a nice hot pain on medium heat, if your a careful rebel, you could go for medium/high heat. Once your ground turkey is about half way cooked, add your shrimp, try not to over cook your shrimp they only take a couple minutes. About 3 minutes to be exact. While that's cooking, add in your mushrooms, spices, and sauce. Lower the heat and simmer for a couple of seconds, make sure that the turkey and the shrimp are well cooked.\
And wow, basically that's it. Should we call this the world simplest sauce? I did this basically on a whim, I just wanted to get rid of that poor shrimp that was jammed in my freezer for over 2 weeks and the turkey that I didn't want to go bad.
Since this sauce is chunky, not like and actual super liquidy sauce, I like to use this a lot, and it doesn't taste bad eating it alone at all!
Sprinkle it over some spaghetti or like what I show in the pictures some yummy rice and squashed red kidney beans and have yourself a nice day!

Haha, that's all guys, hope you try it out! Bye Beautiful!

A little of the Past, but it's on to the Present and Future! (Changes! :D)

I decided to get rid of my Facebook today. Not delete it permanently, seeing as how one day I might get that huge FB need, and go insane. Which in case I just prefer to disactivate it for now, who knows, maybe one day I won't need it? The reason I'm doing this is because, FB is way too much of an addiction. I use to love the thing, I was on it like crazy! Well actually, I'm sure it was almost the same for everyone right? You have a MySpace, and then you hear of this new Facebook thing, so you go and check it out, and you don't like it all! But after a while, more and more of your friends are getting a Facebook, even the ones who don't have a MySpace. So you figure, I made one, so hey, I'll go check it out again maybe I'll like it. And you do, you fall in love, you can't not log on every single day. But, while this hasn't happened to everyone, and who knows if it ever will, I just don't seem as into it anymore. In fact, if anything, FB has turned my life upside down. The following words I'm about to say require no pity, or anything weird like that. I'm just saying it because it's the truth, it's just what happened. While I don't blame FB for this, obviously not, it's just a social website thing. My dad left my family because of it. Good riddance? Is that how you spell it? I'm not sure, but anyways, good for everyone who got what I meant? The only thing that sucks about what happened is my mom getting even more stressed, and me losing a steady source of income. Ugh, I just reminded myself that I seriously need to find a job. Oh well, it'll come in time right?

So the point of this post is two things of which I just thought up right now.

The first: A change in myself.
Recently I've started working out, no weights, no equipment, nothing. Just me, my stubbornness and a yoga mat. I've also realized i'm much for of a girly girl than I thought I would ever be. And the weird thing?-- I like it. I'm still kind of a boyish I guess, but I like the fact that I'm just being me. Mixed in-between. (NOT like a trans!) My point being, I'm finally figuring out who the heck I am, ahhh lovely teenage years no? But I guess this is around the point in time I should start figuring this stuff out, nice to see I'm on track with nature. I'm starting to set goals, and be happy with myself. Oh! Definitely need to go and tune up my violin, I regret having started to learn in 3rd grade and only being as good as I am now. If I had actually really tried, I sometimes wonder how much better I would be now? But no point in wondering, that's the point of this post! (Also why I won't give up working out! No matter how much I HATE IT!) To see what will some.
And while I've been figuring this out for a while now, today I think is the day I really got it to sink in. A 15th huh? Too bad I'm 16 of that would've been cool. Maybe I could just wait to post this tomorrow? Nahhh. :P

The Second: The Old and the New.
Below this, I'm going to post all the pictures of food I've ever taken in the past. These were posted on my FB, but seeing as how that's gone, this seemed like the perfect place! Obviously I haven't taken a picture of every single thing I've ever made, but this is the most of it! And I'm proud of everything I've ever made, but I want to move on to bigger and better foods. Hopefully my first year in culinary will take me for a great spin. But it's always good to keep your memories, so here are the photos! Heck, maybe I'll even make some of these again and post the recipes, to master the food my way! :D
This time I'll put the name of the food on top of the picture, not below it as I usually do, I'll tell you guys when I do this type of switch! Okay moving on...

Vanilla and Chocolate "Cupcakes" (*Muffins huh?)

Arepa's Colombiana's

Almond Cake

 Cream Puffs

 Spongecake w/ Strawberries

As you can see, it's not all just sweet! I love eating my savory food, although oddly enough I don't like cooking it that much. On the other hand I love cooking sweet foods, but I'm not crazy about eating them? I'm such a freak, teehee!
I love how some of these photos were taken with a really high quality camera, some a regular camera, and others, the crap my cell phone has to offer. -_-;; Sorry about that guys. ha...ha...
(Although I do hope that not only my knowledge of food expands, but of fashion, beauty, health, and music do too!)
Sorry that this was such a long post!
But another one of my goals is so get more readers on this blog, get honest and good supporters on my YT channel, and lastly, somehow make my dream of going to Japan come true!
You guys have no clue how much I'm dying to escape this town and go crazy with the Asians! Haha!

Well that's it for today! Thank you! To anyone who read through this post, that means the world to me!
Bye Beautiful!

Pesto&Cheese Stuffed Chicken! :O

And you stuffed a what!? What sound does a chicken make? I'm not sure? I don't think I've ever thought about it! Hehe. Anyways, man, am I tired today guys. I just spent 5+ hours talking to some Indian guy, trying to fix my mom and my computer. It's hard trying to understand accents all around the world. -_- Especially Indian ones. But he did tell me I should try some Indian food, I'm still meh about it though, because normally Indian=Spicy!! And I hate spicy food. Although, it they have a not-spicy-at-all dish, I will so be the first to try it. If so off topic here aren't I? But that's okay, because you know what? It's my blog bwahaha. Okay enough, I know I know, recipe time!

For some reason, I imagine them flying away!~

As for the ingredients today, this really is plain eye balling since the amount totally depends on how many people you're serving, how much stuffing you want, and how big the chicken breast is. So for reference to the pictures I'll put in about how much I used, but this isn't an exact amount. When cooking, just use what you feel is necessary, if you want to try and match it up with mine, that's what the pictures are there for love! :)

Ingredients:

Chicken Breast (I used 3)
Goya* (1Tbsp max)
Pesto (About 1-2 Tbsp per serving)
Cheese (Either the same as the pest, or more if you're a cheese lover like me!)
Tooth Picks (2 min-5 max)

Directions:

You might want to go ahead and start to preheat your oven. I'm using a small conventional oven, so I just use it on its highest setting, since the thing barley toasts up a slice of bread. If you watch where I got the recipe idea, I think Bubz said that she used about 220 degrees? I would go for around 350, but as long as the chicken gets fully cooked, you figure what you think is best. Alright, so make sure you have a cookie sheet, try, whatever you like, lined with aluminum foil.
To begin the actual cooking, take your chicken breast, it should have no skin or bones by the way, and slice it through the middle, enough to open it entirely, but not enough to cut the poor thing in half. Now because I like seasoning with all my poultry, here I added just a dash of my favorite seasoning, Goya, feel free to use plain salt and pepper, or nothing at all.
At this point you can begin to stuff your chicken. Just coat the insides with as little or as much pesto as you can fit on their without it dropping off from the sides. Add as much cheese as you'd like, with the same reasoning in mind. Make sure you have your tooth picks on hand, not like me who was having a crazy time plucking them out of a jar with pesto covered fingers. Fold your chicken, if you've ever rolled sushi before, it's  around the same technique, keep all the ingredients inside with your fingers, and close it up, place your tooth picks where you find them most necessary. Since my chicken breasts were a medium to big size, I placed two on the outer corners, and around 2 or 3 in the middle. Enough so you're chicken doesn't bloom like a flower when it's baking in the oven.
Place your chicken on the aluminum foil, smack on a little more pesto and cheese to make em yummier and look a whole lot tastier than a plain chicken, and stick them in the oven until your chicken is fully cooked. We don't need any crazy chicken disease now do we? Unless your in Japan, they eat their chicken almost raw... Not that that's important right about now... Anyways, I did about 25-30 minutes. Turning the pan around once to get it evenly cooked all throughout.
Once they're done, get them out of the oven, cool them down a little, and serve with whatever else you're having! In my case, some freshly smashed potatoes and plain white rice!

I hope you try out this recipe and enjoy! Also, sorry if the directions look so long, I just like to blabber A LOT, but this recipe is so simple an ape could do it. I bet you.

Have a great time in the kitchen and bye beautiful! :D

Here's the video of Bubz cooking! My recipe was inspired by hers, the over all recipe is the same, but hers is slightly more different, check it out if you're curious! :)

Editing, Eating, and Sleeping! :)

What up!? Okay so I actually did not want to post up a new post....? Because I really wanted you all to read my blabber on my last post about me and making YouTube videos. Seriously. Stop right where you're at reading this, go read that and come back. Only if you watch my YouTube videos, if you're just here for my blog THANK YOU! I appreciate it so much! I really enjoy posting on this blog. What do you guys think? I rearranged some things on it, and if you want now you can get email updates of my new posts! If you're a fellow blogger, please let me in on any cool gadgets! I feel like my blog right now is a bit empty and could use some new things to spice it up!

So I"m going to start talking about my day now! I woke up pretty early today, at least earlier then I thought I would have since I didn't bother setting my alarm. Which wouldn't of mattered either way seeing as how we lost our power this morning. But I woke up just when it came back, so.. yay me! My internet is still psycho! Right now I'm using a public, or something wifi/ other network etc. But I don't like it. I don't feel secure, like I imagine someone peeking into my computer right now as I type!
Scaryyyy! I'm just paranoid. I hope. ;P

So other than that I've spent the whole day editing! While I love the fact that I'm getting subscribers on my beauty channel, NatillaTilla, you guys should really check out my other channel NatillaTillaSpeaks! I finally got around to editing the videos there, so you can definitely start to check those out if you want more of me, or maybe your curious as to what I think and what's really going on in my life. That's there for you.
Also, I took a video of this crazy thing that happened to me! But as I re watched it, I soooo did not like my appearance  Which makes sense because I took it right after I woke up, seeing as it happened, right after I woke up! So, seeing as how the video is deleted, I might as well tell the story right here! Seem cool?

So this is what happened....

I was sleeping comfortable! Having who knows what dreams and all the jazz when I hear a man- yes, A MAN!- calling out saying "Guys? Are you here guys?" or something along those lines. Needless to say, I was soooo freaked out. I mean, the only male that lives with me and my mom, is my little bro. So seeing as that voice wasn't his, and me and him were still in our bed dozing when he just wallopped into my house, you can see why I was freaked. It was like breaking-and-entering to me. Before anything happened I just told my bro to pretend we were both still sleeping. Luckily, the man went away just before nearing our room. But I was so freaked afterwards I didn't feel safe enough to take a shower! (I did gather my guts and take one though!) I texted my mom, who at the moment was at school, and boy did she get angry. Turns out it was the people who check the sprinklers in our complex. But seriously? AT 9 AM? WITHOUT KNOCKING? Mannn, do I want to sue that lady who sent them or what! I would totally do it! That morning was NOT my cup of tea. However, my mom gave em' a nice chat, and I think we're set for now.
But seriously, that was so crazy.

The End.

The day has been so gloomy today. I seriously just want to crawl up into a ball and doze off. Which I just might after this post.
(Also!! I wrote up an essay today on why I want to go to Japan! I totally just felt inspired this morning right before I hopped into the shower. Ugh, I had to memorize everything before I could whip out a laptop and just start typing! Maybe I'll post it here?)
I'm just going to finish editing some videos I'll either be uploading tomorrow or later on. And I have a couple recipes ready to post up here too! Simple and easy I promise! <3
I do want to do a "How to make Sushi" recipe, but I think video taping that would be easier... but I'm not sure how I'm going to do that. I need to find someone to hold up the camera for me.. hmmm.

Anyways, I think that's it for me.! Have a splenda day guys and...
Bye Beautiful! :)

(Apparently I type in "So" a lot. -_-)

My Blog! +Update. :)

*Strechhhh* Alrighty! So right now, my internets going crazy! My mom, brother, and I we just cruising the web, when our internet just flat out hit the hay and never woke up. I seriously just wanted to relax and chill today, eat some sushi and empanadas (way to mix cultures haha) while watching some of my fav YT gurus. BUT NOOO. My internet was not having it. Nope. Doesn't matter that I woke up this morning, spent hours cleaning off this disgusting apartment and cooking like a crazy house wife. Haha, just ranting a little. I know someone obviously has it worse than me, but it still totally angers me. Like UGH! Why!?
Anyways. Since today was my day to wash my hair, I decided to get all glam-ed up and shoot some vid's. Before I go any further, we all need to get something straight. I'm a teenager who happens to have a lot of free time during the summer. So making videos is my way to pass time, and virtually make buddies. I by no means have a set schedule on when, why, or how I'm making them. So I accept request with open arms, I dig em'! But please don't treat me like it's mandatory. Like whattt!? Do I LOOK like your slave or something? No, no, no.  It's for fun! I'm going to try to keep making them, because for some reason I'm really enjoying myself. Okay, that's all I wanted to get through.
Well almost. I also wanted to say that this is MY BLOG. The reason I made it in the beginning was just for recipes, but I decided to do some updating on my YT videos here. You know, maybe give you guys more info and stuff, that good behind the scenes thing. The point is, beauty isn't my main priority on this blog, I don't want it to feel mandatory. I created this place so I could post happily, and write here what I don't have anywhere else to write it.

Hehe, check out my beauty blog for beauty related stuff! The complete post of this is over there!
Have a wonderful time and...

Bye Beautiful!

Yummy Healthy Turkey Burgers! :D

Hi hi everyone! I was going to do an update on my YT stuff, but ermm. I'm feeling way too lazy today. So instead, I'll give you guys a recipe! Btw, when I post new YT videos, most of the time I will update them here on my blog, but if I don't, I'm sorry. If you want to constantly be updated, you should smack that subscribe button! Anywhooo.... I have one of my favorite healthy meals to share with you guys today! I use to just ground my turkey all the time, every time I made it, but c'mon. People need change! So here's a really simple way to spicy it up. A plain and simple meal, that still tastes good and is a great boost to your health. As always with most of my recipes, you can add or take away anything you like! Or change the portion sizes, don't be afraid to experiment in the kitchen! Just don't burn it down, kay? ;)

*sizzle sizzle*

First batch complete!

This avocado... WAS SO DELICIOUS.

Okay, you need to spoil yourself a little. Mayo! <3

Complete!

Start to smack everything together!

VUALA! You are DONE!
Ingredients

1/2 A Package Ground Turkey
Goya Seasoning
1/2 cup + Shredded Cabbage
2 Slices Wholewheat/Pumpernickel Bread
1/2 Avocado
1-2 Tbsp Mayonnaise
2 Slices Mozzarella Cheese

Directions

Preheat your skillet, you want it to be nice and warm when you slap on those burgers. Take your ground turkey and add in your favorite seasoning, I use Goya, but you can switch it up to whatever you like. Some people also like to add in an egg at this point to help things stick, but I feel the ground turkey is much stickier than regualr ground beef, so I opt for not. Add in you cabbage, and with your hands, mix everything together. If you used the same amount of turkey as me, you'll be able to shape up about 6 burgers. Make sure to either PAM your burgers or skillet, and slap em on! I can't tell you for how long to keep them on both sides, but make sure from your side view that the turkey looks to be about half way cooked, then flip it so it can continue to cook on the other side. With all the diseases going around now with meats and such, you want to make sure that your meats are thoroughly cooked through all the way. Place them on some paper towels and start to make your sandwich. I used pumpernickel bread, anything works, but since we're trying to be healthy, stay away from white breads. Slap on the mayo, I DID use 10 calories per tbsp mayo. Add your avocado slices, cheese, and lastly, your yummy turkey burger. Slap the other slice of bread on top, make sure it's secure, and enjoy!

Here's the turkey I used if your curious! For this recipe, I used up the remaining half.

Good luck in the kitchen and be sure to try out this recipe!
Bye Beautiful! ;)

From Leftovers to Delicious! && Kittens!! :D

Hey everyone! I have a quick and yummy recipe for you guys today! It turns out that I MIGHT be going down and visiting C.R, and while we're there my moms planning on selling my cell phone. So I decided to sort through my pictures, what I would keep and e-mail to myself, or what didn't matter and could be deleted for good. While I was searching through them I found a picture of a recipe I never had the chance to post anywhere, so here it is! Me and my mom came up with this one because we had a whole bunch of left over, getting stale, bread and some shrimp. I hope you guys enjoy and scroll down for the cutest kittens I saw the other day!

Ingredients

French Baguette (*Mine was starting to get really hard and stale!)
Pesto
Sauce (*We used the 4 Cheeses sauce, I LOVE IT!)
Toppings: Shrimp, Ham, Cheese, etc. etc.
Basil for taste and decoration!

Directions

First you want to take your baguette and slice it into about 1/2 inch slices more or less. Make sure to turn on your little oven right about now, or you're regular oven. If you're using a regular large oven, heat it up to about 350 degrees F, and if your using a small conventional oven like me, use a heat setting your comfortable with. Around enough to toast the bread and cook or melt any of your toppings. Once your bread is sliced slather with the pesto and sauce, make sure it's not too much so that it drips off the sides, but enough so you'll be able to taste it after cooking it. Next up just smack on your topping, we had a couple pieces of left over shrimp so we used that, for my little brother we just smacked on some ham and cheese, since he doesn't like shrimp. I didn't think of taking a picture of his slices, but we left his in our oven for about 3-5 minutes. If your using shrimp like us, first we dotted some mozzarella cheese to the shrimp wouldn't slide off as we ate! And you can either cook the shrimp before hand, so it doesn't take so long in the oven, but we just smacked it on raw. Sprinkled some basil over it, and waited for about 5-10 minutes, rotating the rack to make sure the shrimp was evenly cooked all through out. Wait a minute or so for it to cool, and eat up!

I personally love toasted bread, and as a seafood lover the shrimp was a total treat. I hope you guys try it out and enjoy!!

Now...
I know this is the moment you have all been waiting for!
I was just walking around the mall, when I hit the pet store, and I saw these beauties, just screaming at me for a picture. I wish I could of bought them! But I wouldn't have the time or space to take care of them, so for now, they'll stay beautiful memories in my pictures!

Bye beautiful!~ :D
